Naomi Campbell D la Repubblica The Fashion Issue Volume #2 2024

Right now, we remain in the euphoric bliss of our fave fashion glossies dropping their heavy fall fashion editions. D la Repubblica continues to unveil each installment of ‘The Fashion Issue’, which will be presented each week for the next four weeks – keeping us completely entertained. The cover of Volume #1 went to Loli Bahia. D la Repubblica editor Emanuele Farneti drops Naomi Campbell as Volume #2 cover star, who fresh from the cover of Madame Figaro and Harper’s Bazaar poses for Oliver Hadlee Pearch. In the blurred cover image (yes, your vision isn’t deceiving you), the Brit icon of modeling is dressed in leopard print Dolce & Gabbana, as selected for the occasion by cover shoot stylist Carlos Nazario.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“What is the purpose of putting a blurred Naomi Campbell on the cover?” asked DK92.

Xone replied “Pretentiousness?”

“Saves time and money on Photoshop,” laughed MyNameIs.

“Blurring images doesn’t add the sense of energy that’s missing from Naomi’s modern-day modelling,” tigerrouge chimed in.

“Naomi Campbell is becoming the weakest supermodel of the bunch,” declared WAVES.

Oaklee91 wasn’t buying it either, pointing out: “It’s like a drag impersonator trying to do Naomi but it doesn’t work well!”

“Could’ve done without the blur but I like it,” vogue28 confessed. “At the very least it’s something slightly different from Naomi Campbell, kinda into the blonde and the leopard print works. The whole shoot does remind me of something Steven Meisel might’ve produced for Vogue Italia.”

“I don’t mind it. I think it looks cool,” shared forum member newton91.
