Check Out Who’s Performing And Presenting At The 65th Annual Grammy Awards

The 65th GRAMMY Awards kick off this weekend, promising to be the biggest night in music across all genres.

Trevor Noah will host for the third consecutive year, with the show being back in “full effect” for the first time since the 2020 ceremony.

The rumor mill is swirling that the Recording Academy is keeping some surprise performances from huge A-list artists hush-hush until the very last minute before broadcast. Variety reports of the possibility that DJ Khaled will hit the stage alongside Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne to perform their three-time nominated much-buzzed-about 2002 hit “GOD DID.” And of course, given her recent return to the stage, the news of her RENAISSANCE World Tour, and her 9 Grammy nominations this year, the rumor mill and the fans are keeping their fingers crossed for a shock performance from none other than Beyoncé herself.

Confirmed performance announcements revealed Best New Artist nominee Steve Lacy, Album of the Year nominee Mary J. Blige, and Song of the Year nominee Lizzo will each be hitting the stage to regale viewers with a sample of just why the Recording Academy has deemed them the biggest and brightest music stars of 2022.

The Roots will accompany the performance with their signature instrumentals.

In addition, rapper Quavo will be joined by Maverick City Music for a performance of his song “Without You” in tribute to the life of late Migos member Takeoff.

Nominees past and present, including Viola Davis (who stands to become an EGOT if she wins in the Best Audio Book category this year), Cardi B, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will serve as presenters during this year’s ceremony.
