Luna is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed, medium in size, weighing 20 kg.
Luna was born in May 2023 and was rescued in May 2024 from one of the worst areas of rural Hungary. She had a very bad start to life, being rescued from a chain while heavily pregnant with puppies.
It was reported that she had been beaten and abused by the owner, who sold her for a bottle of vodka to the rescuers…
She must have suffered a lot in the first year of her life, yet she is the kindest and most loving dog in the world who is friendly with everyone and is grateful for any little attention she gets, which is nothing short of a miracle.
She loves people and adapts well to shelter life. She loves her walks and walks nicely on the lead. She is a real sweetheart who only deserves the best home.
She is good around dogs too and has not shown any aggression towards other dogs but tries to make friends if given the chance.
Luna would be happiest in a family where she is not left alone for long periods and can spend precious time with her humans. She is so loving and affectionate, she could be a loyal companion in whatever you do, and we want her to be treated as a treasured member of the family.
Her training will need to continue, and she will need time to settle into her new home.
Luna could happily live with another peaceful and friendly dog or be the only dog and the centre of attention of her family.
As with all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love, and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy, well-balanced dog.
Experience with rescue dogs is preferred.
Luna is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her.
She comes spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
